Day 21 of '40 DAYS OF FACING FEARS': making my insights public

Today's challenge was something that I have dreamed of doing for years before starting this challenge. Making this public, rather than just leaving it for myself is definitely something outside of my comfort zone and I could not have imagined doing this on day 1 of this challenge. It's hard to believe how far I've come in just 21 days!!

Today I have made 'Jen Y Insights' public (https://www.jenyinsights.com/). Eep!!! This has been a personal project that I've wanted to start for about a year and a half now but either the timing hasn't been right, I haven't committed to putting in the work, I got too nervous about what other people would think about my ideas or I just procrastinated about what to make it about. While I don't feel 'ready', I also know that progress is better than perfection. So, this is a BIG deal for me and I'm so excited about it!!

This is a website where I intend to share a lot of the resources, tools and advice I've learned over the last 2+ years of working in the field of leadership development and to document the various 'experiments' I take so that I can 'walk the walk' in this field. At 26 I'm seen as quite young to be working in this specialised field, so doing these experiments helps me to not only sort through what tool and research is the most effective, but it also helps me to develop as a leader and a woman. Importantly, I genuinely feel privileged to have had so much exposure to amazing leaders, people, resources and opportunities within this field that it feels unfair to keep all of this to myself.

This is a pet project/experiment in itself. As it's in its infancy, there is a LOT of work that needs to go into this website. I will need to create a logo, work on the design, re-do some of the pages etc. Ideas, handy tips, feedback and comments are genuinely appreciated.

Any other ideas for little challenges for the rest of the work week? :)

Also, coming up this week:
Saturday: 'HOLI' - if anyone wants to join me in going to this, PLEASE let me know! It looks like SO much fun!!
