Learn Mindfulness with Jen Y

Learning and practising mindfulness has been one of the best things I've done for my quality of life and has been the key tool that has helped me get through challenging times

Regularly practising mindfulness has given me clarity of direction, taught me a tool to help me better manage my emotions and enabled me to cope with the ups and downs of everyday life.

I now teach these techniques to individuals, teams and organisations and use them in my coaching work to help individuals reach their potential and better cope with change and uncertainty.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is an integrative, mind-body based approach that helps people change the way they think and feel about their experiences, especially stressful experiences. It involves paying attention to our thoughts and feelings so we become more aware of them, less enmeshed in them, and better able to manage them” - UK Mental Health Foundation

In 2017 I became accredited to deliver Ovio Mindfulness One programmes. I've been delighted by the overwhelmingly positive results and feedback from delivering in-house corporate and community programmes. You can read some of the testimonials below.

About the Ovio Mindfulness programmes I deliver

People are already overwhelmed with knowledge and information. The purpose of these courses is not to add to this overwhelm, instead, they offer strategies and perspectives to help cut through all of this noise in peoples' heads to live with balance, wellness and ease.

While certain practices have been adapted from meditation and yoga traditions, Ovio’s mindfulness courses are a secular, scientifically-informed approach that operate in harmony with any belief system. While the practice of mindfulness is not new, science is just catching up to its benefits. Recent studies show mindfulness can have a positive impact on stress, anxiety, focus, creativity and even relationships.

Ovio’s mindfulness workshops are part of a global, evidence-based mindfulness movement, which has seen companies such as Google, LinkedIn, Apple and Harvard Business School dramatically increase engagement and purpose-driven performance.

Global companies that have adopted mindfulness training include:

These courses and programs are targeted to meet individual and group needs. They are a fun and interactive mix of Mindfulness theory, practise and discussion.

You’ll learn how to use powerful and practical mindfulness techniques to:

  • improve clarity, focus, engagement and productivity;
  • reduce stress, anxiety and irritability;
  • repair sleep, increase energy levels and
  • enhance your well-being, resilience and relationships with others.
